Amapá is one of the 26 states of Brazil. It is in the North Region of Brazil. Located in the far northern part of the country, Amapá is bordered by French Guiana, the Atlantic Ocean, Pará, and Suriname. With an estimated population of 845,731 in 2019, it is the second-least populous state. The capital and largest city is Macapá.
